GENDER EQUALITY POLICY

RE AD S.r.l. recognizes gender equality, the promotion of diversity, and inclusion as fundamental principles for the sustainable development of the organization and for the quality of the professional services offered.
In line with its Code of Ethics and the principles of UNI/PdR 125:2022, RE AD is committed to ensuring fairness and equal opportunities in terms of presence, professional growth, and skills development within the organization, with a particular focus on technical and scientific professions (STEM).

The company focuses on the following areas covered by UNI/PdR 125:2022:
− Culture and strategy
− Governance
− HR processes
− Opportunities
− Remuneration equity
− Parenting and work-life balance

RE AD believes that developing an organizational model focused on gender equality and inclusion is not only a matter of social responsibility, but also a factor in professional growth, service quality, and organizational strength.

SPECIFIC POLICIES FOR GENDER EQUALITY
RE AD has identified principles and operational guidelines for each of the areas identified by UNI/PdR 125:2022.

SELECTION AND RECRUITMENT
RE AD adopts personnel selection and recruitment processes based on criteria of merit, competence, and transparency.
In its selection and recruitment activities, the organization is guided by the following principles:
− Candidates are selected in a manner that is neutral with regard to gender and other personal characteristics.
− Evaluation criteria are based on technical skills, professionalism, experience, and potential for development.
− The organization promotes access to technical and engineering professions, including for traditionally underrepresented profiles, favoring gender balance in STEM disciplines.
− Questions or assessments relating to marital status, maternity, paternity, or family responsibilities are not permitted.
− Initial contractual and remuneration conditions are defined in relation to the role and responsibilities involved, without any gender discrimination.

CAREER MANAGEMENT
RE AD recognizes the strategic value of human capital and promotes professional development on a meritocratic and inclusive basis.
In career management, the organization is committed to:
− ensuring access to career advancement and responsibility regardless of gender or sexual orientation;
− Adopt objective and transparent criteria for evaluations, promotions, and assignment of tasks.
− Encourage the full expression of the technical and managerial skills of all individuals.
− Promote skills development through continuous training and professional development.
− Periodically monitor the distribution of roles and responsibilities to prevent any gender imbalances.
− Ensure a respectful, inclusive, and professional well-being-oriented work environment.

EQUAL PAY
RE AD guarantees equal pay as a fundamental principle of fairness and organizational sustainability.
To this end, the organization undertakes to:
− ensure that remuneration is determined exclusively in relation to role, responsibilities, skills, and results;
− periodically monitor pay equity among people in comparable roles;
− recognize any reward systems and benefits based on objective and transparent criteria;
− prevent and correct any unjustified disparities.

PARENTHOOD AND CARE
RE AD is committed to supporting parenthood and care responsibilities by promoting conditions that favor professional continuity.
In particular:
− maternity and paternity are protected in accordance with current legislation and organizational needs;
− the organization encourages the maintenance of professional ties during periods of leave;
− Returning to work is supported through refresher courses and realignment;
− Career penalties related to parenthood are not permitted;
− Full use of parental leave by all beneficiaries is promoted.

WORK-LIFE BALANCE
RE AD promotes a sustainable balance between professional and personal life, compatible with the nature of the technical and consulting activities carried out.
The principles adopted include:
− attention to organizational and managerial flexibility where compatible with operational requirements;
− promotion of working methods that encourage responsibility and autonomy;
− enhancement of mental and physical well-being as a factor in professional and organizational quality;
− access to work-life balance measures for all staff, regardless of gender.

PREVENTION OF ABUSE, HARASSMENT, AND DISCRIMINATION
RE AD adopts a zero-tolerance approach toward any form of abuse, harassment, or discriminatory behavior.
The organization is committed to:
− preventing behavior that does not comply with the principles of respect and professional dignity;
− promoting a culture of mutual respect and collaboration;
− providing confidential reporting channels;
− guaranteeing the protection of whistleblowers from any form of retaliation;
− promptly assessing any reports and taking appropriate measures;
− adopting internal and external communication that respects gender equality and neutrality

MONITORING AND UPDATING
This Gender Equality Policy:
− is subject to periodic monitoring as part of the company management system;
− is reviewed or confirmed in relation to organizational and regulatory developments and the results of monitoring activities.

DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION POLICY

RE AD considers cultural, generational, professional, and personal diversity to be an enriching factor for the organization and an element of quality in decision-making and operational processes.

The company promotes a working environment in which the exchange of different experiences and skills contributes to the continuous improvement of the activities carried out and the building of professional relationships based on mutual respect.

The criteria on which RE AD bases its diversity and inclusion policies are:
− integrity, fairness, and transparency in professional relationships;
− respect for the dignity and identity of each person;
− recognition of skills and merit;
− promotion of an inclusive, collaborative, and professionally oriented work environment;
− recognition of the value of differences as a factor for growth and innovation

RE AD recognizes people as the central resource for carrying out its activities and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities and fair conditions at all stages of the employment relationship—from recruitment to professional development and termination—preventing any form of discrimination and promoting an inclusive organizational culture.

No form of discrimination, direct or indirect, based on, for example:
− gender or gender identity;

− origin, nationality, or cultural background;

− sexual orientation;

− any other personal characteristics not related to professional skills, is tolerated.

Therefore, the organization:

− adopts selection, evaluation, and professional development processes based exclusively on criteria of merit, competence, and responsibility;
− guarantees equal opportunities for access to roles, assignments, and professional growth paths;
− encourages the development of skills and professional growth of individuals, promoting knowledge sharing and skills transfer;
− encourages behavior based on fairness, equity, and responsibility in internal and external relationships;
− promotes respectful and inclusive professional language in corporate communications;
− values multidisciplinary and diverse work teams, recognizing the contribution of different experiences and perspectives.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION
This Diversity and Inclusion Policy:
− applies to all employees, collaborators, and consultants of the company;
− extends, where applicable, to suppliers, partners, and all parties working with RE AD;
− forms an integral part of the principles of conduct required in professional relationships and in relations with stakeholders.
All persons working for RE AD are required to comply with the principles contained in this policy in their relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and partners.

RESPONSIBILITY AND IMPLEMENTATION
Responsibility for the application and dissemination of this policy lies with the Steering Committee, which promotes its integration into organizational processes and personnel management practices.

The Steering Committee ensures:
− the dissemination of the policy within the organization;
− the monitoring of its correct application;
− the promotion of initiatives consistent with the principles of diversity and inclusion;
− the adoption of any corrective measures in the event of non-compliant behavior.

POLICY REVIEW
This Diversity and Inclusion Policy is subject to periodic review by the Steering Committee whenever national and international regulations, as well as applicable best practices, are updated or interpreted in a new way, and whenever deemed necessary, in order to ensure its continued adequacy, effectiveness, and consistency with the company’s principles, values, and organizational structure.
